Project Synopsis

AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) partnered with HexaCorp to replace its outdated, PHP-based Open-EMR system with a modern, scalable intranet-driven Knowledge Base tailored to support global HIV treatment workflows. This included advanced modules for Antiretroviral Therapy (ART), mother-baby tracking, lab monitoring, and treatment adherence.

The Challenge

    • Fragmented workflows with manual Excel sheets.
    • Limited flexibility in legacy Open-EMR system.
    • Poor user experience and lack of centralization.
    • Inadequate reporting and follow-up capabilities.

The Solution

    • Developed a modern, modular EMR using ASP.NET MVC.
    • Integrated ART lifecycle modules including lab tracking, WHO staging, and TB monitoring.
    • Implemented SMS/email reminders, calendar integration, and role-based access.
    • Migrated all legacy data and improved reporting mechanisms.
