Project Synopsis

The project aimed to connect two important systems, one was Corrugated Packaging, and the other Radius Packaging with Microsoft Dynamics GP to improve financial data management and simplify operations. This integration was key to automating business processes, improving data flow, and ensuring accurate financial transactions. The project also focused on solving technical issues faced by users, making the system more efficient and user-friendly.

The Challenge

Significant challenge in integrating their Corrugated Packaging System and Radius Packaging System with Microsoft Dynamics GP.
The primary goal was to ensure that financial data flows seamlessly between these systems, enabling accurate and efficient management of sales, purchasing, and financial reporting.
The existing processes were manual, time-consuming, and prone to errors, which affected the overall efficiency and productivity of the organization.
Needed support for various daily operational issues, including system login problems, sales transaction postings, and reporting challenges in the Management Reporter.

The Solution

We developed a solution that uses web services to automatically transfer sales invoices from the Corrugated and Radius Packaging systems into Dynamics GP.
Ensured that supplier and customer information was synchronized between the packaging systems and Dynamics GP, allowing for consistent and accurate data across all platforms.
Automated the flow of purchase invoices from the packaging systems to Dynamics GP via web services, enhancing the efficiency of the procurement process.
Provided daily support to address any operational issues faced by end-users, including resolving login issues, fixing problems related to the posting of sales transactions.
Promptly fixed posting issues related to sales transactions, ensured accurate reporting in the Management Reporter, and resolved any login issues faced by users.

The Result

The automated integration between the packaging systems and Dynamics GP eliminated manual data entry, reducing errors and saving time.
The integration streamlined the entire process, from invoice generation to financial reporting, ensuring that data flows smoothly between systems.
Consolidated report generation allowed for better financial oversight and more informed decision-making, contributing to improved business performance.
